Experiencing Teaching

October 17, 2015

I am really enjoying Brookfield’s “The Skillful Teacher”. I appreciate his candidness about his own teaching experiences and the exposure of so many teachers’ fear of inadequacy. I found his statements about “growing into truths” very insightful and feel that they could be used as a mantra or self-affirmations to boast ones confidence and remind myself why I am a skillful teacher and restore my commitment to my students.
