Currently on maternity leave, I am thoroughly enjoying spending time with my 4 1/2 month old son.  A first time mom, I am astonished by how quickly he is growing and changing; everyday he seems to learn something new. As busy as life can be, he makes it all worthwhile with his infectious smile.
When I return to work, I will resume my position as a Director of REACH Orton-Gillingham Learning Centre in Langley, B.C., an academic remediation centre that assists individuals who struggle to learn to read or spell where I not only teach reading, writing and basic language skills to students who have difficulties acquiring these skills, but also provide training to parents and teachers.
